je pense que dans cette rubrique ce sera plus facile d’être vu, pour demander de l'aide que dans la rubrique initiale, si un modo veut bien faire le nécessaire pour prendre en charge le déménagement ( une petite pièce à la clef ) ;-)

Mon ordi est planté, j'avais depuis deux ans lubuntu 16-4 LTS
J'ai lancé sa maj vers 18 et bin j'aurais pas dute !
Donc, je remets mon cd "ubuntu" 16-4 en live et me voici à tout reprendre à zéro.
J'avais gardé une iso de "Lubuntu" sur une clef usb, mais ça ne marche pas!
J'ai repris les bonnes habitudes, j'ai suivi ce tuto pour fournir le BOOT INFO:
Créer un rapport Boot-Info
et c'était déja plus confortable d'écrire avec un clavier " azerty ".
vous savez quoi ajouter devant:

Dans le titre, j'ai exprimer le souhait de réinstaller "Lubuntu", pour retrouver ma liberté de connexion.
J'ai essayé depuis le live de reprendre les 192 petits pois pour les retransmettre dans la configuration VPN, et tenté de faire une configuration manuelle puisque l'automatique ne se fait pas, mais en vain.

Q1. pour l'heure, mon vostro est rechargé avec un cd ubuntu 16 04 lts,
installé,
mais avec l'installé je ne peux configurer le VPN, donc, je reviens en live avec ce meme cd, pour pouvoir recourir à l'aide du forum.
J'ai fait des relevés en live pour configurer le vpn, pour revenir faire un param manuel du vpn, ipv4 et ipv6, dns etc mais ça ne fonctionne pas.
j'y connais pas trop.
Je dispose d'un autre ordi pour répondre au forum.
Q2. J'ai ré installé tout propre Ubuntu, j'ai écrasé l'existant, qui était un Lubuntu.
Il me faudrait pouvoir rétablir la ligne, configurer le vpn, pour avoir le choix ensuite entre Ubuntu, Lubuntu ou pourquoi pas Xubuntu ?
Le premier actuellement, me permet d'avoir mon imprimante usb, mais pas de vpn.
J'ai essayé Lubuntu 16, le fait de passer au 18 m'a tout planté. un probleme matos ?
J'avais perdu mon imprimante, d'où ma decision de passer à la version sup.
ce probleme matos doit pouvoir se détecter dés lors sous cette version ubuntu, j'ai d'ailleurs quelque piste.
Et si mon ordi un peu vieillot peut admettre un passage à Xubuntu, ça me fera découvrir un autre environnement.
De toute façon, cet ordi va passer à la version " poste pour enfant ".
Imprimante, youtub, liaison filaire.
Pour mémoire,
je rappelle que je suis allé chercher la méthode pour avoir ce rapport sur Créer un rapport Boot-Info
Qu'inspire ce rapport à nos experts ?

Je crois comprendre un peu mieux mais ça reste touffu. Déjà je n'arrive pas à savoir si tu parviens à démarrer une session sur ton Ubuntu 16.04 qui est installé sur ton disque dur (que tu parvienne ou pas à configurer ton VPN, je m'en fous là, je veux seulement savoir si tu peux ouvrir une session).

Donc ton Ubuntu 16.04 installé sur disque dur est fonctionnel hormis le VPN. Pour la configuration du VPN (que je ne pratique pas), je vois que les gens qui ont des soucis avec ça demandent de l'aide dans les rubriques "Accès internet et réseaux" ou "Bureautique et logiciels pour l'internet et le réseau" du forum. Je te suggère de demander de l'aide dans ces rubriques spécialisées au lieu de la présente rubrique "Installation d'Ubuntu".

En fait de connexion vpn,
c'est une connexion à internet filaire que je recherche ( je reviens de la rubrique en question), car je vois qu'il y a différent mode de connexion.
Une fois que j'ai cette connexion filaire, et que je peux télécharger la version Lubuntu, c'est fini pour moi.
Je passe commande d'un nouvel ordi.

j'ai réussit !
J'avais réussit l'installation de la version Ubuntu 16.04 lts avec un cd.
à cette étape,
je n'avais pas le liaison internet en version installée, mais je l'avais en version live.
Je suis revenu sur le ms-bios, et j'ai passé alternativement les volets enable/deasable/enable.
puis redemmarage.
et là, c'est revenu !
à cette étape,
l'installation de ubuntu 16.04 me donne accés à internet et à mon imprimante en usb.
Mais,
avec firefox, ça rame dés que je veux lire des vidéos sur le web, type youtub.
firefox ralenti, plante.
Je me lance sur un essai en live de Lubuntu 16.04.
ça fonctionne.
J'installe à coté de Ubuntu.
ça fonctionne.
J'ai titré de cette façon car ça e semble etre la clef du succès...
Me reste à savoir si au démarrage je peux distinguer les deux,
car en première ligne j'ai "ubuntu" qui lance en vraie Lubuntu, suivit lignes suivantes de variables,
puis une ligne Ubuntu 16.04 lts qui lance le lourd Ubuntu.
je vais étudier le grub, pour voir si je peux titrer ça.
J'ai donc un double ordi:
lubuntu pour youtub, les vidéos, pour les gosses.
Ubuntu pour faire des essais, entre-autres arduino.
