16.04 lenteur au démarrage...encore
Bonjour,
Le sujet est souvent évoqué sur le forum. Je viens de passer de la 14.04 à la 16.04 dans l'après midi en faisant une mise a niveau avec l'outil intégré en mode graphique.
Tout semble bien se passer. Le PC se relance mais je le trouve très lent donc

J'ai lu ce post. Il y a beaucoup de références à l'utilisation du terminalet si je ne suis pas complètement novice... le terminal n'est pas vraiment mon fort, j'ai donc besoin que l'on me tienne la main, si c'est possible.

Heu, je suis vraiment pas sûr que supprimer xserver-xorg-video-intel avec
sudo apt-get remove xserver-xorg-video-intel
soit une bonne idée. Déjà il faudrait voir si tu as les mêmes erreurs. Pour cela tu peux donner le retour de
dmesg | grep drm
Ce qui est dommage, c'est que le retour que je t'ai demandé ne contient pas les 3 min de démarrage.
Tu peux suivre https://askubuntu.com/questions/800479/ … ly-service (la première réponse) afin de lancer apt-daiily.service pas au démarrage mais un peu après et redonne ensuite

essaye ceci, pour moi, ça a fonctionné, sinon, tu revient en arrière en effaçant ce que tu a rajouté
Ceci est un bug. Pour éviter les retards, vous pouvez utiliser la solution de contournement. A partir du terminal:
sudo nano /etc/default/grub
Ensuite, ajoutez le paramètre de démarrage du noyau: video=SVIDEO-1:d , il ressemblera à ceci: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash video=SVIDEO-1:d"
sudo update-grub
sudo reboot

J'ai du mal à comprendre que tu passes de la 14 (périmée suivant la version depuis avril sauf la 0 la 1 et la 5 jusqu'en avril 2019) à la 16 ...
... en toute logique tu devrais tenter la 18 surtout que maintenant on n'est plus à la 18.04 mais à la 18.04.1 c'est à dire la version qui est très stable normalement.

J'ai bien pris connaissance de ta proposition, mais touchant le grub, j'espère que cette manip ne va pas me donner un écran noir avec aucune possibilité de modification.
Je n'y connais pas grand chose en terminal, et la modif ne doit pas être pire que le mal.:rolleyes:
La théorie, c'est quand on comprend tout et que rien ne marche.
La pratique, c'est quand tout marche mais on ne sait pas pourquoi.
Avec win, ils ont réussi les deux : rien ne marche et personne ne sait pourquoi

Il me semble effectivement que ubuntu est ici en 64 bits (j'imagine que c'est grub-i386 qui t'a fait penser que c'était du 32 bits)
Il y a le paramètre nomodeset qui traîne, tu en as eu besoin à l'installation d'ubuntu? Tu as une carte graphique?

essaye comme je t'ai dit, si ensuite problème, à l'aide du cd live , tu pourra modifier le grub pour revenir en arrière

je me pose la question d'une réinstall propette de la 18.04
Mais la question d'un démarrage très lent ne surviendra-t-il pas aussi avec cette démarche ?

moi, j'étais en 16 quand j'ai résolut le problème, ensuite je suis passé en 18 et la, le problème est réapparu alors j'ai fait la même modif du grub et tout est revenu dans l'ordre. Il est vrai que si tu veux passer en 18, il faut le faire avant de toucher au grub
