[RESOLU] VirtualBox plante depuis la mise à jours securité ?...

Bonjour a tous,

je me permets cette nouvelle discussion car VirtualBox plante, il me semble, depuis la mise à jours de sécurité contre les failles des processeurs intel.

Les faits :
J'ai fait la mise à jours mercredi 10 et aujourd’hui (le 14) j'ai voulu lancer une machine virtuelle. Des que j'appuie sur le bouton "Démarrer" tout plante. L'écran est figé et rien ne répond (clavier, souris, son, ect...).

J'ai testé avec plusieurs type de machines virtuelle (windows, ubuntu, calculate linux) mais c'est le même schéma.

La config :
Oracle virtualbox 5.0.40_Ubuntu r115130
os : Xubuntu 16.04

machine : Intel Core i5, 7th génération
8Go de ram


Ça parle a quelqu'un ?

Salut,

Nettoie le cache des paquets avec :

sudo apt clean

Puis mets à jour avec :

sudo apt update
sudo apt full-upgrade

Donne le retour des commandes pour vérifier que tout est OK.

Ceci fait, lance Virtualbox depuis un terminal. Quand ta VM aura planté, colle en retour l'ensemble des messages.

mais le problème persiste. Dés que j’appuie sur le bouton "démarré" d'une machine virtuelle tout ce bloque, je dois forcer l'extinction en appuyant longtemps sur le bouton "off" de l'ordinateur...

Ce peut être un problème de pilote graphique.

Que donnent ces commandes ?

Je ne vois rien de significatif dans tes retours.

Peux-tu tenter de démarrer sur le noyau antérieur et tester Virtualbox. Si ce n'est pas mieux, essaye avec le noyau -2.

Il ne faut pas rétro pédaler.

Au démarrage s'affiche Grub (s'il ne s'affiche pas appuie sur shift). La 1ère ligne est celle de la version de noyau utilisé par défaut. C'est le dernier installé.
Tu te positionnes sur la ligne suivante et appuies sur entrée. La tu auras le chois de démarrer sur les noyaux précédents.

de mon côté la version 5.2 de virtualbox, disponible sur le site de Virtualbox, a permisde résoudre le problème.

Installée correctement pour ma part après une purge de l'ancienne version via :

sudo apt-get remove --purge virtualbox virtualbox*

puis un petit

sudo apt-get install ./virtualbox-5.2_5.2.6-120293~Ubuntu~xenial_amd64.deb

dudit paquet préalablement téléchargé

Je me permets de ré-écrire sur le sujet car il semblerait que la nouvelle mise a jour du Kernel Linux corrige le problème même sur des versions de Virtual Box plus anciennes.

Sinon les mises a jours de Virtual Box corrige également le problème.
