Je ne sais que te dire.
La première des choses va être d mettre a jour le firmware car tu as la  version CC46 et c'est la version CC49 qu'il faudrait. Je n'ai pas regardé ce qu'elle corrige.

Il a bien fait l'update, mais ça ne règle rien... sad

Du coup j'ai deux questions :
- Est-ce que c'est impossible que ça soit malgré tout un problème physique du disque dur ?
- Comment est-ce que je peux faire pour lancer un chkdsk sur ce disque ? (avec un bootCD par exemple ou je sais pas)

ainsi qu'un nouveau smartctl
Mais je crains que le disque soit fichu.

Il existe une autre possibilité que j'entrevois au vu de ce résultat

A 5295 heures de fonctionnement, le test n° 2 a été lancé en mode captif. Il a été tué et depuis ce moment, le firmware du disque interdit qu'il soit utilisé pour un fonctionnement applicatif.
Dans le dmesg aucun secteur n'est lisible et pourtant le short offline fonctionne encore actuellement

Certainement une commande short test à relancer pour qu'elle se finisse
je ne connais pas trop la codif.

En relisant cela, j'ai l'impression que tu as permuté les câbles de l'alimentation électrique..
Permutes donc les petits câbles rouges auprès des disques sans toucher au branchement sur la carte mère.

J'ai permuté les deux câbles rouges mais ça ne change rien.

Que veux-tu dire par "relancer une commande short test" ? J'ai fait quelques recherches mais n'ai pas bien compris à quoi ça faisait référence. Aux test pratiqués avec smartctl ?

On va donc dire que ce n'est pas un problème de câble ni de carte mère mais bien du disque.
Cependant, il y a une chose qui me surprend
On voit le moment du dernier smartctl a 5329 heures disant que tout est OK

Je ne suis pas un spécialiste, loin de là, mais je ne comprends pas ces conseils !
Première des choses à essayer : gparted.
Non pas pour créer une partition, mais déjà pour créer une table de partitions ms-dos (périphérique -> nouvelle table de partitions).
Si ça ne fonctionne pas, essayer d'effacer le début du disque, mais pas avec une commande erronée, qui n'écrit qu'un seul octet  :

Bougron a écrit :

Je te propose d'ecrire des zeros dans le premier bloc du disque.

 sudo dd   if=/dev/zero   of=/dev/sdb   count=1

Comme tu as changé des branchements, il importe de voir comment le disque est reconnu (sdX) et ne surtout pas se tromper. Je pense que gparted te permet de voir ça.
Puis :

sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdX  count=512

Ça, ça efface le premier secteur (= 512 octets), ce qui est suffisant pour faire apparaître le disque comme sorti d'usine (sauf que, bien sûr, s'il a réellement un problème matériel, ça ne va pas le corriger).
Et enfin ré-essayer gparted -> périphérique -> nouvelle table de partitions (ms-dos, s'il demande)

La  commande pour réparer le lba (502087670) de la première erreur
On lit pour vérifier qu'on ne peut pas, on répare et on lit pour vérifier que c'est réparé

sudo dd   if=/dev/sda   count=1 bs=512 skip=502087670
sudo hdparm --yes-i-know-what-i-am-doing --write-sector  502087670  /dev/sda 
sudo dd   if=/dev/sda   count=1 bs=512 skip=502087670

Si la lecture est possible, tu relances le test long.

Comme tu le dis la lecture n'est toujours pas possible, mais il semble que hdparm sache écrire...

Rassures-toi
Moi non plus je ne les connais  que par ouî-dire.
C'est bien la première fois que je vois un cas de figure dont le smartctl semble dire que le disque est bon et qu'on est incapable de lire un seul secteur.
Je suis donc parti à la chasse à une option du firmware du disque mal positionnée.
J'ai donc mis toutes les options de lecture possibles.
De là, à trouver ce qu'il faut permuter comme option.....
Pour les autres options de premier niveau, frappes " hdparm --help"

Peux-tu refaire la même commande sur l'autre disque qui fonctionne
et tu compares cette expression qui m'inquiète et que j'assimile à un protocole de communication assez ancien pour savoir si  c'est pareil

et tu regarderas aussi cette notion  car il me semble bien que le problème est à cet endroit

Mon sentiment est que le vendeur de ton disque a détruit le contenu du disque via hdparm  avant de le mettre en vente en oubliant de supprimer le mot de passe qu'il avait mis

Alors j'ai regardé dans le bios (je savais pas trop où regarder mais je pense avoir fouillé partout où c'était possible) et je n'ai rien vu qui signifierait qu'une quelconque option de sécurité serait activée. Par contre, dans l'onglet "avancé", il y avait le message suivant mais je ne sais pas si c'est un message de prévention ou une alerte suite à une manipulation quelconque :

Mise en garde
Un 0 (completed without error) provoquer
un mauvais fonctionnement du système

La faute d'accord est d'origine. Du coup je sais pas si ça veut dire qu'il y a un bidule qui provoque actuellement une erreur ou si c'est juste un truc qui serait possible sous condition.

Du coup j'ai tapé la commande que tu m'indiquais et ça me donne ça :
