Problème synchronisation, entrée/sortie sur DD anciennement NTFS

Salut tout le monde !

Un message pour voir si vous pouvez m'aider.

J'ai récemment acheté d'occaz deux disques durs de 500Go chacun (Barracuda) pour les faire tourner sous Lubuntu.

Les deux disques sont en Sata et ont été testé sous mes yeux sans problème. Sur le premier, j'ai réussi à installer Lubuntu. Pour le second, il me manquait un câble Sata que j'ai acquis un peu après.

J'ai installé le deuxième disque, qui était formaté en NTFS (comme le premier), et ai pu effacer la partition sans aucune erreur (sur mon premier disque je n'ai pas eu d'erreurs non plus lors de l'installation de Lubuntu).

Le problème c'est lorsque j'ai voulu écrire sur ce second disque une partition en ext4, et ce que ça soit avec l'utilitaire de disque de Lubuntu ou Gparted, ça n'a pas cessé de m'afficher des erreurs de synchronisation, d'entrée/sortie, d'écriture de bloc 0.

J'ai testé mon DD avec différents câbles SATA, c'est toujours la même chose. Comme le disque était sain et que je n'ai pas eu de souci lors de mon premier effacement, je ne pense pas qu'il soit matériellement abîmé. J'en conclus que c'est dû au format NTFS.

De ce que j'ai lu sur le net, il me faudrait un Windows (que je n'ai pas) pour lancer un chkdsk et voir ce que ça donne. Je vais tester quelques outils (ntfsfix, testdisk) et voir ce que ça donne mais, si une personne a une autre piste pour que j'arrive à formater ce DD, je l'en remercierais beaucoup.

Bonjour.
Si tu n'as pas windows, reformates ton disque en mettant une partition ext4. Mais le problème n'est pas là.

Mais je ne peux pas créer de nouvelles partitions ni reformater, ça ne me met que des erreurs d'entrées/sorties et je ne peux pas faire d'opérations sur mon disque.

J'ai essayé de lancer testdisk, fsck ou ntfsfix, ça m'affiche des : READ DMA EXT Error...

 sudo  smartctl   -s   on   -a   /dev/sdX

. avec  X à la bonne valeur.

Je ne sais pas te dire la cause exacte du problème. Manque de puissance électrique?

Je ne pense pas que ça vienne d'un faux contact car j'ai testé plusieurs câbles (fonctionnels sur d'autres matériels), et mon DD n'a jamais eu de souci jusqu'à ce que j'essaye de le formater.

Un manque de puissance électrique, oui, pourquoi pas, je pourrais tester ça en débranchant le disque dur qui fonctionne bien et avec un LiveCD.

Par contre je ne comprends pas ce que tu veux dire par rapport au message d'erreur. Comment je peux être plus précis ? Là j'ai recopié tout ce que me renvoyait la commande que tu m'indiquais, je n'ai rien omis.

Bonjour.
Qu'elle idée d'écrire /dev/sdb sans faire suivre d'un numéro...
Je te propose d'ecrire des zeros dans le premier bloc du disque.

 sudo dd   if=/dev/zero   of=/dev/sdb   count=1

puis de lancer gparted en utilisant l'onglet "périphériques" pour créer une table de partition "Msdos" puis enfin créer une partition avec cet outil.

Ben, c'est comme ça que le disque est nommé "sdb", il n'y a pas de numéro. C'est un problème ?

Sinon pour la commande que tu m'as dite, ça me donne ça :

sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdb count=1

Et je ne peux rien faire.

dmesg  |  tail   -50

Lorsqu'on utilise des partitions, il y a obligatoirement des numéros. Cela commence à 1.

Je n'arrive pas a comprendre pourquoi je ne vois pas la trace de l'écriture du secteur zéro. Aurais-tu rebooté dans l'intervale?

Sans savoir ce que cela va donner: Essaies de permuter les branchements des câbles
ou alors c'est la tête de lecture qui ne sait plus se déplacer...

oui tu l'avais dit mais
il faudrait que tu débranches le câble qui relie le premier disque, que tu le rebanches au second disque et que tu branches le cable du second disque au premier disque.

Désolé du délai de réponse, je n'ai pas eu trop le temps de m'occuper de tout ça dernièrement.

J'ai switché les branchements sans toucher à ceux de la carte mère (autrement dit : je n'ai pas switché les petits câbles rouges mais j'ai juste interchangé ceux plus longs et noirs - c'est bien ça ?) mais ça n'a rien changé du tout. Toujours les mêmes erreurs... sad
