[ Résolu ]Probleme fichier demarrage OS loin du debut du disque
Bonjour,
Je suis passé il y a peu sous linux et j'avais installé la dernière version Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. Suite à pas mal de problème j'ai décidé de formater le disque dur et de tout réinstaller à neuf pour repartir sur une base saine. J'ai donc installé un Live Usb de Gparted et j'ai pu formater et réinstaller à neuf Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
Première question mon disque dur a une capacité de 500 Go. Je sais qu'on perd toujours un peu de place mais j'avais souvenir que lors de la première installation quelque chose comme 495 Go et maintenant suite au formatage je n'ai plus que 465 Go. De quoi cela peut venir ? Resterait-il une partie non formaté ?
Ensuite ma deuxième question :
J'avais quelques problèmes lors du démarrage de mon pc j'ai donc installé Boot-Repair.

Voici ce qu'il m'annonce :
Les fichiers de démarrage de [L'OS actuellement utilisé - Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS] sont loin du début du disque. Votre BIOS pourrait ne pas les détecter. Vous voudrez peut-être re-essayer après avoir créé une partition /boot (EXT4, >200MB, en début de disque). Cela peut être réalisé via des outils tels que gParted. Puis sélectionnez cette partition via l'option [Partition /boot séparée :] de [Réparateur de démarrage]. (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/partition_boot).
Du coup j'ai installé gParted et j'ai tenté de faire l'opération conseillée mais sans y parvenir
J'ai essayé de redimensionner la partition en laissant 1 Go de libre avant la partition mais pas possible...
Que dois-je faire svp ?

Les fichiers de démarrage de [L'OS actuellement utilisé - Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS] sont loin du début du disque. Votre BIOS pourrait ne pas les détecter. Vous voudrez peut-être re-essayer après avoir créé une partition /boot (EXT4, >200MB, en début de disque). Cela peut être réalisé via des outils tels que gParted. Puis sélectionnez cette partition via l'option [Partition /boot séparée :] de [Réparateur de démarrage]. (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/partition_boot)On voit bien en fin de ce Boot-Info le message "Les fichiers de démarrage de [L'OS actuellement utilisé - Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS] sont loin du début du disque...bla bla bla ..."
En fait, ce message s'adresse à des utilisateurs de vieux ordinateurs. Je ne sais pas s'il est vraiment utile à quelqu'un mais ce que je sais c'est que ce message fait peur à tous ceux qui ont un petit souci quel qu’il soit : ils pensent comme toi que c'est possiblement la raison de leur problème et cherchent comme tu le fais à résoudre ce soit-disant problème. En fait, tu n'es pas concerné par ce message puisque tu démarres ton Ubuntu installé et je te suggère de ne pas en tenir compte.
Pour ton inquiétude sur la taille de ton disque dur : Gparted indique 465.76 Gio mais cette unité - le Gio - vaut 1 073 741 824 octets (voir ici) donc 465.76 Gio font 500 Go
