je retrouve qqch de normal pour :

$ ndiswrapper -l

j'avais oublier de désactiver du network manager... Je l'avais oublié celui-là ... J'ai essayé de resuivre le tuto sans succès.

$ sudo ndiswrapper -m

modprobe config already contains alias directive

$ sudo modprobe ndiswrapper

et quand je réinitialise le rsx, il oublie mon dongle, c'est parce que je l'ai désactivé dans "interfaces",

$ sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart

je retrouve ma connexion eth0, waouh, mais c'est pas trop l'objectif. J'ai enlevé le commentaire de wlan0 (toujours dans "interfaces"), et là , rien de plus quand restart connexion

C'est toujours valable. Apparemment, ndiswrapper et ton driver son ok. Maintenant, reste à voir les autre modules donc un p'tit dmesg après démarrage svp.

Donc ton ndiswrapper charge bien un driver, qui semble être le bon.

Par contre il semble perdu le tien. Un coup c'est ndiswrapper, un coup RTL8187 ... je pense qu'il est mal blacklisté.

Il a vraisemblablement un problème... sûrement et toujours un module à trouver et bloquer.
Une fois que c'est fait, tout roule, tu verras.

Pour eth0, c'est pas forcément grave même si, en général, c'est wlan pour le wifi. Mais il arrive parfois (et rarement) que eth0 soit l'interface qui fonctionne. Toutefois, là ce ne semble pas le cas manifestement

connexion toujours impossible sous gutsy.
ndiswrapper -l ne donne pas de résultat, mais l'interface graphique me dit que ça va (matériel + driver présents). Systeme > administration > reseau est différent de sous Dapper, je n'arrive pas à désactiver la connexion sans fil. C'est soit itinérant, soit la config que je dois préciser, sinon je reste coincé dans la fenêtre.

j'ai revu que rtl8187 embêtait le monde, alors un coup de rmmod m'a permis de l'enlever pour un message plus sympatique. dmesg donne :

Alors je regarde à nouveau les modules, aucun de ceux blacklisté ci-dessous n'apparaisse : r8187, islsmusb, islsm, islsm_usb, prism54usb, p54usb, p54common

Je suis vraiment perdu, car j'ai resuivi le tuto - sans ce qui était spécifique à Breezy - et je me retrouve au même point. Sauf que je capte mon réseau quand le module rtl8187 est activé, sans pouvoir me connecter (je le vois à l'adresse IP de wifi radar), et quand il est désactivé au profit de ndiswrapper, je ne capte plus qu'un réseau et des bizarrerie (voir ci-dessous). cflam69, pourrais-tu me rappeler les étapes essentiels, car j'en perds mon latin.

Alors 2 choses :
- Sans utiliser ndiswrapper, et juste avec la reconnaissance du matériel par Gutsy, je voyais bien les réseaux alentours dont le mien ... sans pouvoir m'y connecter.
- Pour de connecter via ndiswrapper, il faut utiliser network-manager (avec moi ça marche), puis tu rentres tes paramètre de connexion (SSID, clef, ...)

ndiswrapper -l devrait te renvoyer quelquechoses. Peut-être avec sudo devant.
Sinon, on essayera une connexion à la "mano" pour voir.

j'ai désactivé ndiswrapper, et j'ai repris à partir de rtl8187 qui lui, détectait mon réseau. J'avais toujours le même message d'erreur, malgré les sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart.

J'ai redémarré, et ça a fonctionné, quelle a été ma surprise... En plus, cela fonctionne avec le cryptage WEP, waouh Mise à part ça, il me reste à désinstaller complétement ndiswrapper en suivant le tuto consacrer à ... ndiswrapper. La lumière de la clé ne s'allume pas, mais c'est pas bien grave.

que d'efforts pour faire fonctionner tout ça... merci à tous ceux qui m'ont aidé et fait progresser.

j'ai découvert que, si l'envie me prenait de démarrer wifi radar, je perdais ma connexion. dmesg me révélait ces messages d'erreur à répétition :

solution si la connexion a été perdue :
Il suffisait d'arrêter wifi-radar, de débrancher puis de rebrancher mon dongle, et là , je retrouvais ma connexion. Mes vaines tentatives décrites dans ce topic découlaient donc ce prgm qui empêchait le brave network-manager de faire son boulot. Comme quoi, il ne faut pas faire plusieurs choses en même temps ! @ bon entendeur !
