J'ai aussi une demande plus générale. La version Ubuntu 20.04 LTS tient la route, ou nous en sommes encore à "l'essuyage des plâtres" ? Un peu comme la version 17.10, si je dis pas de bêtises...
Je dis ça aussi parce que le pad de mon ordi déconne parfois... Là, par exemple, je ne peux plus faire défiler avec ?... Je dois utiliser les flèches ou cliquer sur le côté... ça fonctionnait très bien avec la version 18.04 LTS que j'avais avant de mettre à niveau.
Et, c'est sûrement dû aux manipulations que nous faisons ensemble, mais le bluetooth est actif par défaut alors que je ne l'utilise pas sur ordi...

Bonjour,

Nous sommes entrain de chercher une solution. Ce n'est pas propre à ta machine, nous voyons apparaître des problèmes pour le rtl8822be. En l'état actuel, il semblerait qu'il y ait un problème avec le firmware, ce qui reste à confirmer. Les solutions que nous utilisons habituellement (le dépôt de L. Finger) ne ressout pas le problème. Je te tiendrais au courant si nous arrivons à converger.

et merci déjà de vous être penchés tous les deux sur mon problème. Et merci d'avance pour la solution prochaine... Parce que nous allons trouver, n'est-ce pas !?...
Il n'y a pas de caractère d'urgence, c'est juste dommage... L'accès filaire fonctionne par ailleurs, donc, au pire, j'ai cette solution.
Si des fois il fallait revenir en arrière, j'aurai besoin de votre aide, encore, pour réinstaller une version précédente...

Si j'ai bien suivi, que ce soit le premier ou le deuxième pilote, les deux crash d'après le dmesg.
Actuellement, c'est le pilote de Larry Finger qui est installé, c'est ça?

Salut Nuliel,

Le pilote a été installé de manière classique, sans le faire gérer par dkms. (nous verrons ça quand la solution sera trouvée). C'est le cas également sur l'autre fil.

Et Lors de ma dernière intervention, c'était bien le pilote de L. Finger qui était installé

La désactivation de l'ASPM a été tenté en passant le paramètre pcie_aspm=off à la volée. L'avantage est de ne pas modifier durablement la config, l'inconvénient est qu'il faille repasser le paramètre à chaque boot et je crains qu'il y ait eu des loupés de ce côté.

Il semblerait qu'il faille également reseter complètement le module, soit en coupant complètement l'alim (donc retirer la batterie sur un portable) ou en retirant le module physique. Solution alternative, arrêter le PC et booter sous windows, qui permet souvent de rendre le module opérationnel.

Bref un beau challenge pour lequel je n'ai toujours pas de solution

J'ai regardé avec attention de le commentaire #5, qui va dans ce sens. Ici (https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.p … #p22347287), qui est un fil différent, nous avons essayé de coupé l'ASPM, sans succès.

La proposition du commentaire #5 porte sur le module qui vient avec le noyau. C'est équivalente à couper l'ASPM pour les fonctions static void rtw_pci_clkreq_set(struct rtw_dev *rtwdev, bool enable) et static void rtw_pci_aspm_set(struct rtw_dev *rtwdev, bool enable) si on utilise le pilote de L. Finger car sur son module, il y a ce test qui est fait :

	if (rtw_pci_disable_aspm)
		return;

Donc, je ne sais pas quoi en penser...

Est ce que les logs du crash changent lorsque aspm est désactivé? (je sais pas si ton grep a inclus le crash du pilote s'il a eu lieu)
Au passage le secure boot est désactivé?

Sinon pour le return, c'est peut être fait exprès et pas sur tout le module

- vérifié systématiquement
- ça se voit sur modprobe

Je lis aussi que vous parlez un langage qui m'est un peu étranger... Je ferai ce que vous me direz, en tous cas.

Pendant ce temps, puisque je suis actuellement sur mon PC, j'ai bien sûr aussi la mise à niveau 20.04.1 dispo, mais j'avoue que je m’interroge quant à la mettre en place (?...) En même temps, je me dis que je n''utilise pas de wifi sur mon ordi... Est-ce que je tente ou bien vous me conseillez de garder le castor bionique ?

Oui le sujet est complexe, et en plus on ne possède pas cette carte wifi, ce qui rajoute encore de la difficulté.

Tu as le temps pour la mise à niveau, du moment que tu la fais avant 2023 (bionic est maintenu jusqu'en avril 2023). Perso j'attends un peu (je suis aussi sur bionic sur mes deux pc)

La solution est la suivante :

echo "options rtw_pci disable_aspm=Y"  | sudo tee  /etc/modprobe.d/rtw_pci.conf

Il faut arrêter le PC, puis redémarrer. La difficulté est de faire redémarrer le module WiFi. As tu un dual-boot avec Windows? Si c'est le cas, lance Windows pour remettre en marche la WiFi

Je n'ai plus du tout Windows, ni sur PC, ni sur portable. Il semble qu'il faille ouvrir la bête pour accéder à la batterie... autre challenge...
Je redémarre et reviens vers vous !

Donc, à ce stade, après un simple redémarrage, le mode avion était actif par défaut !?... J'avais déjà eu ça durant nos différents échanges précédents. Le bluetooth aussi, d'ailleurs... Alors que je ne l'utilise jamais. Et plus de section "wifi" dans les paramètres...
Vais-je devoir opérer ?...

Alors, surprise ! Je vois maintenant que mon wifi perso est de nouveau détecté, et connecté !?!
J'ai fais les dernières commandes branché en filaire, sans prêter attention au reste... C'est en débranchant le câble que je découvre ça !?...
Je fais ce message-ci via wifi ! de là à dire que c'est solutionné... à vous de me dire...

Bon, super ! Reste à vous remercier tous les trois pour votre support ! Je n'ai pas forcément compris tout ce qu'on a fait, mais il semble que ça ait fonctionné !

Je vais attendre demain pour clôturer... Sait-on jamais...

Et, Nuliel a déjà donné son avis, mais je repose la question pour toi Nico et peut-être Xubu : Êtes-vous partisans d'une installation 'par défaut' d'une mise à niveau dès sa sortie, ou, comme dit Nuliel : "Tu as le temps pour la mise à niveau, du moment que tu la fais avant 2023 (bionic est maintenu jusqu'en avril 2023). Perso j'attends un peu (je suis aussi sur bionic sur mes deux pc)" ?
