écran noir au démarrage

Bonjour!
Avant-hier j’ai installé ubuntu a coté de windows 10 sur mon Asus UX430UAR, au début tout se passait très bien, au démarrage j’avais grub qui me demandait de choisir entre ubuntu et windows.
Cependant maintenant j’ai un écran noir, même pas logo de Asus qui s’affiche mais grub fonctionne quand même puisque au bout d’un moment ubuntu se lance automatiquement et s’affiche normalement. J’arrive également à naviguer en aveugle avec les touches pour lancer windows (et je sais que windows se lance puisque si j’ai mes écouteurs bluetooth je les entend se connecter) mais dans ce cas l’écran reste noir.
Une idée pour régler ce problème?

Bonjour,
Depuis une session de ton Ubuntu installé, je te prie de faire un Boot-info et de donner l'URL de ce Boot-info dans ta réponse.
D'autre part, tu as noté dans ton post #1 : "Asus UX430UAR" mais je ne trouve pas cette référence. Je te prie de donner le nom complet de ton modèle (ce que j'appelle le nom complet, par exemple c'est UX430UA-GV569T comme ici )

Quand à la référence, je n'ai pas plus d'info que celle que j'ai donné, qui est le nom proposé par ubuntu à l'installation et également le résultat que j'obtiens après dmidecode -s system-product-name. Dites moi si vous connaissez une méthode pour en savoir plus. Merci smile

Bonjour

  Première chose à  tenter:Tu devrais modifier  le fichier   /etc/default/grub

gedit admin:///etc/default/grub

et mettre plein de  #########    devant cette ligne GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=hidden afin qu'elle soit commentée
Puis quitter gedit en sauvant le fichier et faire prendre en compte avec la commande

sudo update-grub

Désolé pour la latence, j'avais des cours en ligne (colle de maths sur discord, sacré experience!)
geole j'ai fait ce que tu as proposé, je n'ai pas essayé de lancer sur windows mais j'ai toujours un écran noir au lieu de grub avant que ubuntu se lance.
malbo en effet a part la couleur ca correspond à ce que j'ai.
Autre détail je sais pas si ca a un rapport mais j'ai de temps en temps une petite fenêtre "problème logiciel détecté" sans plus d'infos et qui ne laisse aucune trace après avoir cliqué sur "signaler le problème"

Alors on va tenter autre chose:Tu devrais modifier  le fichier   /etc/default/grub

gedit admin:///etc/default/grub

et remplacer le mot hidden par le mot menu dans la ligne    GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=hidden en supprimant tous les   ######### afin qu'elle redevienne active.
Puis quitter gedit en sauvant le fichier et faire prendre en compte avec la commande

sudo update-grub

Toujours aucun effet...
Autre chose qui a changé je crois depuis que je rencontre ce problème (pas sûr à 100%), lorsque le pc s'eteint j'ai pendant un cours laps de temps écrit sur fond noir :
/dev/sda5: clean, 199198/1602496 files, 2042506/6400000 blocks
[    44.665255] reboot: Restarting system
et la 1ere des ces deux lignes s'affiche également au démarrage, juste avant que ubuntu se lance donc après grub.

En italique, c'est la procedure normale au démarrage comme à l'extinction.

Par contre en gras, il n'est pas normal qu'il y ait lieu d'un reboot à l'extinction, ou alors t'avais choisis redémarrer au lieu d'arreter.

Donc, malgré ce message, le pc s'arrete-t-il et s'éteint-il quand tu demandes son arret ?

Lorsque je fais cette manip j'ai le même résultat qu'en tapotant f2 pour acceder au bios : l'écran reste noir et linux ne se lance pas. Je pense que le menu s'ouvre effectivement mais que comme pour grub et windows je ne vois rien.

Bonjour
Je ne sais pas trouver l'option qui a été modifiée pour te masquer l'écran de choix. Je te propose un contournement: Ne plus utiliser le grub pour faire ton choix de boot entre windows et ubuntu.
J'ai vu que ton installation est faite en EFI. Refind est à essayer
   Si lui non plus, ne propose pas son écran d'accueil, le problème sera en amont donc il faudra chercher dans le bios.
                Il boote par défaut sur le premier OS de la liste   qui est souvent windows.
  Il pourra être supprimé avec le support d'installation  de ubuntu
Pour installer voir paragraphe 2.0.3 de la documentation refind

Je comprends à présent pourquoi tu posais la question plus haut (ton post #10) : "Serait-il plus pertinent de poser la question sur un forum windows?". En fait, ce n'est pas un problème de Ubuntu ni un problème de Windows, c'est ton Bios qui est nase. Moi je ne suis pas compétent pour te proposer une réparation.

Merci geole pour ta proposition, mais étant donné que quand windows se lance mon écran reste noir, j'ai un peu peur de prendre le risque d'installer quelque chose qui me ferait booter automatiquement dessus. Si je l'installe et que je ne vois toujours rien, est ce que j'aurai un moyen d'acceder à linux ou de revenir en arrière? Je prépare actuellement des concours donc je veux être sur de pouvoir continuer à utiliser mon pc sans interruption. Si je dois tenter des choses un peu risquées, je préfère m'occuper de mon problème plus tard et me contenter de linux pour le moment.
Malbo merci à toi aussi d'avoir essayé, j'espère que si mon bios est atteint ca reste arrangeable.

Pour la manipulation, il faut que tu puisses booter avec un support d'installation de ubuntu afin de changer l'ordre de boot

La ligne BootCurrent indique  qu'on a booté sur boot0007

Pour changer l'ordre, il faut faire la commande suivante, par exemple en premier windows, en second ubuntu, en troisième refind

sudo efibootmgr  -o  0,3,7

Cela peut se faire avec le ubuntu installé ou avec le ubuntu sur support d'installation

Et une fois que j'ai booté sur refind, est ce qu'il devrait lancer ubuntu après un certain temps?
Dans la documentation refind je vois qu'ils parlent du secure boot, je me souviens avoir réactivé cette option après avoir installé ubuntu a cause d'un caprice de windows. Ca ne posera pas de problème?

Bien vu, Je n'y avais pas pensé.

=================== UEFI/Legacy mode:
BIOS is EFI-compatible, and is setup in EFI-mode for this installed-session.
SecureBoot enabled.

Il faut déactiver  le secure boot  dans le  bios pour que  refind démarre automatiquement
Autrement il faut faire passer refind comme étant le grubx64.efi  , et le SHIMX64.efi le lance sans état d'âme


En standard, refind patiente 20 secondes avant de booter le premier O.S. rencontré.

Je n'arrive pas acceder au bios ou en tous cas j'arrive pas à voir ce que j'y fait, donc il va falloir ruser. Ce que je comprend pas c'est comment un problème de grub (ou même autre chose) pourrait faire que que le logo de démarrage, windows et même le bios ne s'affichent pas? Je suis pas un pro dans ce domaine mais bon je comprend 2-3 truc et j'ai aucune idée de comment ca peut arriver.

Un petit up pour dire que je viens de faire des mises a jour via le gestionnaire sans trop faire attention à ce que j'installais, et en redémarrant j'ai été très surpris de retrouver mon bon vieux logo asus et de constater que tout refonctionnait normalement. Voilà je sais toujours pas d'où venait mon problème, mais il s'est résolu tout seul. Dans tous les cas je vais continuer à utiliser linux qui me plait bien!
