[resolu]commande copier vers clé usb

bonjour

pouvez vous me dire quelle est la syntaxe,dans le root,  pour copier un répertoire ou/et un fichier du disque dur vers une clé usb ? c'est pour libérer de l'espace disque afin de rendre possible le démarrage du pc.

Si ta racine est pleine, ça ne t'empêche pas d'accéder à ta session en mode non graphique

Donc pourquoi veux-tu agir en root ?


Si ta racine est bien montée en lecture-écriture
il faut d'abord vérifier le point de montage de ta clef :

mount | grep dev/sd

As-tu déjà repéré ce que tu veux déplacer ?


Mais il y a peut-être un moyen sans déplacement.
Par exemple, si c'est un fichier de log qui a dévoré l'espace libre, on peut l'identifier puis le purger.

Pour repérer l'intrus :
à la racine :

du -xam --max-depth=1 / 2>/dev/null | sort -h | tail -7

dans /var/log :

du -am --max-depth=2 /var/log | sort -h | tail

Si tu es dans ta session personnelle, il faut ajouter sudo devant.

As-tu essayé ? Chez moi, mettre une barre oblique devant n'ajoute rien au retour de la commande.

bon eh bien voilà je n'arrive à démarrer mon pc qu'avec un live usb 18.04
alors j'ai essayé dans recovery.
j'ai lancé un clean, bof
j'ai lancé dpkg qui m'a indiqué qu'il manquait 110 mo pour mettre à jour
Etant donné que je dois faire de la place dans mon pc (j'ai déjà été ennuyée il y a peu de temps, mais j'ai tardé pour faire le ménage)j'ai pensé que je pouvais déplacer des fichiers sur une clé usb

qu'en pensez vous ?

Au bout de deux jours et une dizaine de messages, la personne demandant de l'aide n'a toujours pas répondu à la moindre question. (Sauf à côté et en se contredisant).

Ne serait-ce pas une forme de troll ?

je suis novice, en panne d'ordi, pensais que l'on pouvait m'aider sur le forum, à dépanner et m'expliquer ce que je vois et dois faire, et je suis loin de maîtriser la terminologie.
je n'écris pas ces messages sur mon ordi puis qu'il est en panne, donc, pas d'ordi toujours sous la main

man apt-get

te donnera toutes les réponses (c'est aussi important que tu sois capable d'aller chercher les réponses à ce genre de question toute seule. Ce qui se traduit en anglais par RTFM : "read that fucking manual" wink smile ).

Cependant, je vais te répondre directement. apt autoremove supprime les paquets non utilisés qui n'ont plus aucune dépendance avec des paquets en usage. Et l'option --purge supprime en plus les fichiers de configuration de ces paquets.

Et c'est la commande qui correspond à la suggestion du post #8.

A Xubu : : bonjour, oui c'est cet ordi là, mais il a eu de nouvelles défaillances après que je sois parvenue à le démarrer. je n'ai pas refait de boot info pensant qu'il suffisait de déplacer des données sur un support externe pour faire de la place. D’où le thème de la discussion.

A jean Marie : Merci beaucoup pour ta bienveillance et ta compréhension. Je commence tout juste mon apprentissage Linux et je ne veux pas faire d'actions irréversibles. Ne te méprends pas sur mes propos. Mon but n'est pas de "lutter" contre une éventuelle surcharge du forum. J'avais donc supposé que le ménage n'avait pas été suffisant. et qu'il suffise que je déplace des fichiers sur un support externe... avec une commande que je ne connais pas d'ou ma question initiale : copier vers clé usb

Pour progresser sur ce problème, il faut que tu sois capable d'ouvrir le menu de grub au démarrage.

Pour cela, il faut que tu appuies sur la touche "shift" (la flèche qui permet d'avoir les majuscules) juste après l'écran d'accueil du BIOS.

Dis-nous déjà si ça fonctionne sur ton PC.

bonjour

bon voilà : j'ai repris toutes mes notes et fait un mix de tous vos conseils :

j'ai essayé

ctrl alt F3

,

shift 

apres le bios, les deux n'ont rien donné

ayant eu une panne similaire il y a quelques semaines, j'ai relancé le pc en ouvrant le menu recovery avec "esc"
sur root, j'ai :
lancé

apt autoremove

et supprimé des fichiers de trace
la commande

df -h

m'a démontré que je n'avais toujours pas de place (occupé à 100 %)
j'ai fait

du /home/chassagne -xam --max-depth=2 2>Erreur [sort -nr | head -20 && cat Erreur

qui m'a permis de voir ou j'en étais
puis

rm -rv/home/chassagne/.cache/deja-dup

j'ai enfin pu démarrer le pc alors j'ai fait du ménage
