Instabilité de l'affichage

Bonjour,

Depuis qqs temps j'ai des souci d'instabilité d'affichage, déchirement d'image ou petits flashes, et parfois écran noir pendant quelques secondes, l'écran affichant "absence de signal".

Comme l'écran est un 4K (Eizo 32") je me suis dit que peut-être une configuration sans carte graphique, avec juste les capacités graphiques du I7 étaient insuffisantes, alors je me suis fendu d'une carte graphique (Nvidia GTX 1050 TI)

J'ai essayé avec les drivers standards (Nouveau...) et avec les drivers Nvidia (V.390) conseillés par le gestionnaire de mise à jour, mais sans grand résultat. Il ya un peu moins de déchirement peut-être avec la sortie Nvidia, mais un peu plus de flashes et d'écrans noirs. Tout ça étant asse subjectif.

Les problèmes surviennent quelque soit l'activité, internet, bureautique, streaming, musique, retouche photo, etc... il ne semble pas qu'une application soit en cause.

Ce qui me gène, c'est que lorsque j'ai acheté cet écran il y environ 1 an, je n'avais pas ces soucis, tout était nickel, définition, qualité d'image, flux vidéo, même en 4K, etc..

Donc si quelqu'un a une piste .... J'ai pas mal cherché sur le net, il semble y avoir pas mal de problèmes avec l'affichage, pas spécialement en 4K d'ailleurs (Recherche de "Screen flickering"), mais les quelques trucs que j'ai trouvé ne résolvent pas le problème.

Je ne vois pas trop en quoi ce lien peut aider. CUDA, je n'en ai pas l'utilité et je ne crois pas que cela interfère avec mon affichage actuel. Quand aux drivers Nvidia dernière version, pourquoi pas, mais dans la mesure où le problème existe avec ou sans les drivers Nvidia, je doute que cela soit une vraie solution.

Donc je récapitule : problème d'affichage, déchirement d'image, flashes d'affichage, écran noir, et cela quelque soit la sortie video (carte-mère ou carte graphique) et le driver (intel, nouveau, Nvidia). J'ajoute que l'écran fonctionne sans problème branché sur un portable ou une PS4 (ce qui exclu un problème matériel de l'écran lui-même) . L'écran branché sur un autre PC sous LinuxMint (sans carte graphique) ne présente pas le défaut.

Finalement, c'est peut-être la solution : passer sous LinuxMint....

... Bon , je confirme, passer aux plus récents drivers (430) ne résout pas le problème. D'ailleurs, je ne comprends plus très bien, qu'est-ce que c'est que tous ces drivers, désormais "libres", seul le V390 est propriétaire, tout cela est un peu confus, j'ai l'impression de revenir 10 ans en arrière avec ces problèmes graphique, d'ailleurs j'ai visiblement perdu le fil d'actualité sur le sujet, n'ayant plus eu ce genre de souci depuis des lustres.

Bonjour alphascorpii,
Je possède exactement la même référence de carte graphique, mon problème graphique a été résolu en refaisant une installation sans installer les driver proprio qu'il aurait fallu cocher lors de l'installation comme j'avais au départ choisi lors de la première fois.
Autrement j'aurais une résolution basse comme tu dois l'avoir en ce moment.

Salut Ceric,

Je n'ai pas de problème de résolution, celle-est au max (3840x2160), et justement je n'avais pas de carte graphique dédiée, seulement la fonction graphique du processeur. Et tout ça marchait bien jusqu'à récemment donc sans driver propriétaires, et puis ça a commencer à déconner, d'où l'achat de la carte que j'ai installé il y a quelques jours et essayé plusieurs configurations, avec les drivers libres (Nouveau), avec le driver proprio (Nvidia V.390), puis maintenant avec la V.430 d'un driver marqué comme "libre" mais qui vient d'un dépôt Nvidia, comme recommandé dans le lien donné par JvCharles.

En général il y a quelques flashes sur l'écran puis au bout d'un temps ça coupe, l'écran devient noir pendant quelques secondes, l'écran signale une perte de communication avec le Pc, et ça repart, jusqu'au prochain coup.

En péchant quelques infos sur le net j'ai désactivé l'animation des fenêtres, et essayé de bricoler quelques paramètres, mais sans grand changement, j'ai essayé le bureau avec Wayland également, même problème.

Finalement je pense qu'on peut éliminer un problème de driver, reste un problème de noyau (?) ou un souci matériel (carte-mère ?), à moins qu'un paramètre "exotique" n'en soit la cause.

Bonjour,

As-tu essayé sans fichier xorg.conf ? Ce dernier n'est pas toujours utilisé, pour Ubuntu 18.04, je ne sais pas.

As-tu fais une évolution de version ou une mise à jour de version lors du début de la déconnade ?

Avec quelle version d'ubuntu cela marchait bien ?

Je vais essayer sans Xorg.conf, on verra bien, pourquoi pas, il y un paquet de paramètres là dedans et si on peut s'en passer tant mieux (c'est aussi parce qu'ils sont sans doutes inutiles).

Sinon, je fais systématiquement les mises à jours de "sécurité" et les mises à jour du noyau, comme il y en a souvent ces temps-ci, je ne saurai dire à quel moment ça a commencer à déconner par rapport à ces MAJ. Et jusqu'à ce moment ça marchait sans problème avec la 16.04 (mais avec un autre écran pas en 4K) et la 18.04 (avec mon 24'' précédent en HD et le 32'' actuel en 4K). En fait je n'utilise plus que les version LTS.
