Tentative avec refind : il boucle aussi.
Fallait-il rebooter le système avant de tenter ou pas d'importance ?

Bonsoir
Cela fait beaucoup de choses surprenantes (spécialement la non-réponse à la commande "efibootmgr -v")
   Il faudrait que tu ailles dans le bios et que tu cherches la version du bios... Demain je regarderais s'il n'y en a pas une plus récente.
                                                           et que tu cherches l'option qui permet de le remettre à l'état "usine".  Il n'y a pas de raison qu'elle n'existe pas.
                  Puis que tu ré-essaies soit la  réinstallation du  grub,  soit la réinstallation de refind (à ton choix)

Ah!!!!! en fait, il a un souci quand il a tourné en boucle; il faut rebooter.
Maintenant il me répond à la commande sudo efibootmgr -v

Cela sent vraiment l'odinateur bridé....
       Boote-t-il de façon standard ?    Boote-t-il sur windows ?        Je n'ai pas trouvé de référence pour le savoir.
Je vais  déjà  te proposer la réparation la plus  simple à essayer facilement

1) Tu rebootes avec le support d'installation
2) Tu vas écraser le fichier de boot standard par le fichier de boot de refind 
Les commandes sont les suivantes
a) Monter la partition de boot

sudo    mount    -v /dev/sda1     /mnt

b) Sauver le fichier de boot standard avec cette commande:

 sudo mv -v /mnt/efi/Boot/bootx64.efi /mnt/efi/Boot/Bootx64$(date +"-%Y-%m-%d-%H-%M-%S").efi  

c) Mettre la structure de boot de refind dans la structure de boot standard avec cette commande:

 sudo cp -Rv /mnt/efi/refind/* /mnt/efi/Boot 

d) Mettre le fichier de boot de refind à la place du fichier standard avec cette commande:

 sudo cp -v /mnt/efi/Boot/refind_x64.efi /mnt/efi/Boot/bootx64.efi 

Puis tu  rebootes et tu dis  comment cela se passe
Si c'est refind qui met  en route ou toujours windows...

Si c'est windows, j'ai aussi la solution pour demain en lui  détruisant son fichier de boot ou en lui disant de lancer refind....

J'ai récupéré un vieux boot-info  qui montrait

Mais avec tout ce qui a été fait. il faudrait vérifier si c'est encore vrai  En liveusb, avant d'areter  tu feras aussi

sudo mount   /dev/sda5    /media

et tu donneras le retour de

ls    -ls    /media/boot

Tu  en profiteras pour donner le nom officiel de cet ordinateur avec la commande suivante

sudo dmidecode   -t1

  Je m'étais beaucoup fié à cette discussion https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=2030028   avec un ordinateur certainement identique au tien.

Donc  on va attaquer la grosse modification .

1) Tu rebootes avec le support d'installation
2) Tu vas écraser le fichier de boot de windows par le fichier de boot de refind
Les commandes sont les suivantes
      a) Monter la partition de boot

      sudo    mount    -v /dev/sda1     /mnt

     b) Par prudence, sauver le fichier de boot de windows avec cette commande:

         sudo cp -v /mnt/efi/Microsoft/Boot/bootmgfw.efi    /mnt/efi/Microsoft/Boot/bootmgfw$(date +"-%Y-%m-%d-%H-%M-%S").efi

    c) Si la commande ci-dessus c'est mal passée, tu ne fais pas la suite car   cela deviendrait risqué.

3) Tu vas mettre à jour le fichier de refind pour qu'il reconnaisse un windows "'bricolé" ne bootant pas avec son fichier de boot classique
     Nota, j'ai choisi l'éditeur de fichier nano  mais tu peux prendre celui que tu préfères.
     a)   Ouvrir le fichier de paramétrage avec cette commande:

   sudo nano /mnt/efi/refind/refind.conf

     b)    Y insérer en fin de fichier les lignes suivantes:

menuentry "Windows 10" {
    icon \EFI\refind\icons\os_win.png
    loader \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\bkbootmgfw.efi
}

     c) Sauvegarder le fichier et quitter nano.

4)  Mettre la structure de boot de refind dans la structure de boot de windows avec cette commande:

      sudo cp -Rv    /mnt/efi/refind/*      /mnt/efi/Microsoft/Boot

5) Permuter les fichiers de boot de windows
      a) Mettre le fichier de boot de windows à l'endroit prévu par refind avec cette commande:
       

     sudo cp -v /mnt/efi/Microsoft/Boot/bootmgfw.efi /mnt/efi/Microsoft/Boot/bkbootmgfw.efi

      b) Mettre le fichier de boot de refind à la place de celui de windows avec cette commande:

           sudo cp -v /mnt/efi/Microsoft/Boot/refind_x64.efi /mnt/efi/Microsoft/Boot/bootmgfw.efi

6) Quitter le support d'installation et booter.
7) Se souvenir que windows10 fait quelquefois des mises a jour majeures qui livrent un nouveau fichier de boot et que  cette modification peut être détruite
   Lorsque dans quelques semestres si windows 10 redevient prioritaire, les actions suivantes seront à refaire
       2-a
       2-b
       5-a
       5-b

Tu peux essayer  la substitution windows par refind

Je n'ai toujours pas compris, pourquoi il est devenu impossible de fabriquer une entrée alors que cela a déjà été réussi au moins une fois

Pourrais-tu donner le retour de la commande

sudo dmidecode -t0

permettant de connaitre la version du bios.

Ca y est, quand je démarre, j'ai un menu refind. Mais je ne sais pas ce que je dois faire !
Je ne reconnais plus rien !
Le dernier des 4 logos est windows et quand je clique dessus, windows démarre bien.

Bon on a bien avancé d'un cran   et on n'a pas perdu windows..
Normalement refind inspecte les fichiers pouvant booter en EFI. Il regarde aussi leur contenu.
Dans ton contexte, j'ai vérifié le mieux possible le contenu du répertoire /boot qui a encore deux couples nécessaires pour être détectés.

On voit donc que les fichiers ne sont pas vides

J'espère que leur contenu est parfait. Si tel est le cas, refind devrait les détecter et te proposer à droite de l'icone de windows, un icone     en orange

C'est là qu'il faut que tu te positionnes puis tu appuies sur la touche F2
Il devrait te montrer une ligne de boot        contenant  au moins le mot initrd
Si tel est le cas, c'est gagné pour refind      Tu pourras faire return pour valider le boot..

Si tu n'as pas d'icone orange, c'est bien embêtant.

Il y a donc 5 icones :
orange (sorte de roue) qui correspond à EFI\ubuntu\grubx64.efi
Un premier Q bleu qui correspond à EFI\refind\refind-x64.efi
Un deuxième Q bleu qui correspond à EFI\Boot\refind-x64.efi
Trois cercles empilés qui correspond à EFI\Boot\Bootx64-2019-06-17-07-12-30.efi
Windows

En partant sur le orange, avec F2, j'ai le choix entre :
Boot using default options
Return to main menu

Cela se complique sacrément!
   L'icone orange te propose de lancer le fichier standard de boot ( EFI\ubuntu\grubx64.efi ) qui va envoyer sur le grub de la partition SDA5. Or il n'existe pas. Donc plantage assuré.

Je ne comprends pas trop pourquoi il n'a  pas détecté la structure de boot standard.  On va quand même faire le peu de vérification que je connais.

   1) Monter la partition root

      sudo    mount    -v /dev/sda5     /mnt

   2) Regarder si le fichier de boot standard est lisible et vraissemblable   . Il doit contenir entre 2000 et 3000 lignes et une centaine de lignes x86_64 (Chez moi 2540   et 122)

 sudo  lsinitramfs  /mnt/initrd.img | wc -l
 sudo  lsinitramfs  /mnt/initrd.img | grep x86_64 | wc -l 

    S'il n'exite pas, tu vas le créer ainsi que d'autres   

     sudo   ln   -s   /mnt/boot/initrd.img-4.18.0-15-generic  /mnt/initrd.img.old
     sudo   ln   -s   /mnt/boot/initrd.img-4.18.0-21-generic  /mnt/initrd.img
     sudo   ln   -s   /mnt/boot/vmlinuz-4.18.0-15-generic    /mnt/vmlinuz.old
     sudo   ln   -s   /mnt/boot/vmlinuz-4.18.0-21-generic    /mnt/vmlinuz

 
     et tu recontroles que c'est vraissemblable.   Si cela ne l'est pas,  les fichiers sont en mauvais état. Il faudra trouver une autre solution

   3) On va aussi créer  la structure de boot d'aide de refind.
       a)    Tu récupères le UUID de la partition racine avec cette commande

             sudo blkid  | grep sda5

       b)   Tu fabriques le fichier de configuration  avec cette commande

            sudo  touch /mnt/boot/refind_linux.conf

       c) Avec ton éditeur favori, tu lui mets ces deux lignes

         "Boot with standard options"  "root=UUID=4aaa151a-053c-420a-8565-ad22a0d715d0 ro quiet splash vt.handoff=7"
         "Boot with recovery options"   "recovery nomodeset ro root=UUID=4aaa151a-053c-420a-8565-ad22a0d715d0"

         en prenant le soin de remplacer 4aaa151a-053c-420a-8565-ad22a0d715d0   par la bonne valeur si cela a changé

    4) Puis tu refais un boot-info    car je ne suis plus certain de la bonne valeur du premier.

Puis tu retentes pour voir s'il n'y a pas un icone supplémentaire.

NOTA Je vais commencer à regarder pour la version du bios..

C'est un fichier exécutable sous windows.     Comme  tu as encore windows . C'est toi qui voit.


Je crains que tu ne trouves pas la présence des fichiers  de fonctionnement en X86_64.

Si tel est le cas, j'ai encore une dernière cartouche qui passe par une réinstallation de l'O.S .en demandant à l'installateur de ne pas s'embêter avec le grub.
Cela prend une heure d'installation tout au plus.   Comme refind fonctionne déjà..  il devrait le détecter sans trop de difficulté.
Cela sera le dernier essai possible avant de dire qu'il faut mettre à jour le bios malgré les risques...

La procédure pour cette dernière tentative est la suivante:
1) Booter encore avec le support d'installation en disant d'essayer avant d'installer
2) Demander d'installer  en ligne de commande au lieu de cliquer sur l'icone d'installation. La commande à frapper est

   ubiquity -b

ou

   sudo ubiquity -b

Je ne suis pas très familière avec gparted. Je l'ai trouvé dans le menu.
Je l'ai lancé et j'ai trouvé comment faire afficher les drapeaux.
Mais je ne suis maintenant pas sure de ce que je dois faire.

Cela veut dire que le drapeau est bien présent, contrairement à ce que je croyais.

J'avais vu dans le nouveau boot info

Alors que ma mémoire se souvenait que si le drapeau boot avait été mis, il  aurait du y avoir

(A l'attention des autres lecteurs. Suivant la façon de booter,    le disque est vu soit comme SDA soit comme SDB)
Donc encore une piste qui se ferme.

Je n'ai pas compris pourquoi refind n'a rien trouvé.    Un bug dans refind 18.04.2 ?  J'en doute un peu. ( Je  ne suis qu'en version 18.04.1 de Ubuntu).
Je ne suis même plus certain que le problème provienne du bios EFI.

Est-ce que réinstaller   via la commande ubiquity -b  va permettre à refind de détecter. Je n'en suis pas certain. Mais c'est la seule chose que je peux proposer

Par contre, quelles options est-ce que je dois choisir pour "écraser" celui présent et qu'il ne recrée pas de partitions etc ... ?

D'abord, ce matin, je viens de faire l'essai suivant
     A) Suppression des flags de boot de la partition FAT32
     B) Installation de grub
    ==> Constat: Aucun problème. C'était donc une fausse piste.

Pour réinstaller, il me semble qu'il y a maintenant une option qui va te permettre de dire "à la place de"
                      Sinon, c'est la méthode 1 de ce document. https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/reinstallation_ubuntu.
                           Dans ton contexte, tu pourra même dire de formater la partition car il me semble que cela n'a jamais fonctionné.

La réinstallation. L'option qui se présente est "manuel". J'ai réussi à la lancer et à ne pas perdre windows.
Elle ne va pas jusqu'au bout.
Arrêt à "Restauration des paquets précédemment installés" 89%
Après un long arrêt il dit que l'installation continue mais que des logiciels seront peut-être à réinstaller.
Puis crash et la fenêtre disparaît.
Evidemment, pas d'amélioration au boot.

Je n'ai pas réussi à trouver quoi demander mais j'ai au moins une commande

Je suis maintenant convaincu que si refind ne propose pas de booter, c'est que le contenu de ces fichiers ne lui plaisent pas. J'ai fait un essai de mise à zéro du fichier chez moi, et  il n'a plus proposé.  !!!!.

Oui, c'était avec ubiquity.
J'ai demandé l'installation "standard" (donc pas minimale).  Avec télécharger les mises à jour, cela vous fera gagner du temps plus tard !!!
