[Abandon d'ubuntu] migration 18.10....la tuile
Bonjour à tous,
et bien voilà, c'est la première fois que cela m'arrive avec mon PC, la migration c'est mal passé. Lors du redémarrage je me trouve bloqué juste apès la ligne
OK] Started Save/Restore Sound Card Level.
suivi dans point clignotant sur la ligne d'après ?
Quelqu'un a une idée ????? D'avance merci

En fait c'est un soucis avant GRUB, je crois bien qu'il c'est emmêlé les pinceaux avec un disque dur qui possédait aussi un grub (précédemment non utilisé). Bref c'est un tel bazar que j'ai décidée d'utiliser le live cd de la 18.04.1 pour essayre de réparer tout ça.
Après installation j'ai bien GRUB qui s'affiche, un Ubuntu 18.10 et un 18.04. Si le 18/04 fonctionne bien, la 18.10 m'affiche un joli
/dev/sdd1/ : UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; run fsck manually
fsck exited with status code 4
C'est très clair.........AU SECOURS

J'ai fait un fsck /dev/sdd1, j'ai répondu Y lors d'un choix demandé. Après relance du PC des message d'erreur AE_NOT_FOUND...... etc, puis l'affichage de Ubuntu 18.10 et un curseur qui clignote ....
Après appuie sur Esc je reviens à mon premier post.
Je n'ai plus que mes yeux pour pleurer..... Heureusement que j'avais un home séparée....
Tout ça parce que j'en avais marre de devoir répondre, "plus tard" au sollicitation de mise à jour ! Bien puni le coco.

En attendant j'ai prévenu mon entourage de ne pas faire de mise à niveau..... on ne sait jamais !

Et après avoir fait ce fsck manuellement, est-ce que tu peux démarrer en recovery mode ?
N'oubliez pas de consulter la documentation pour vous donner un coup de main !

Hélas rien n'y a fait.
J'ai tenté une réinstallation de Ubuntu 18.04 à coté de ma précédente. Si j'obtiens bien le grub, lors del'initialisation d'Ubuntu 18.10 je me retrouve dans la même situation qu'au début.:(

OK je fais le nécessaire lorsque cette saleté de carte mère asus acceptera de me laisser entrer dans le bios sans pour autant bloqué sur le menu principal.

Me revoilà, puisque via la clé usb je n'ai pas pu démarrer, j'ai graver un DVD !!!!

Pour infos j'ai 2 disque SSD qui me servent pour les distribution. Sur l'un il y a Manjaro (qui fonctionne) et son grub qui me permet de choisir la distribution sur laquelle je souhaite travailler, sur l'autre il y a Ubuntu 18.10 (ex 18.04 dont la mise à jour à foirée) et ubuntu 18.04 tout nouvelle installation qui fonctionne.
J'ai été voir le rapport..... c'est pour moi guère explicite.J'ai été vers la ligne 660 car c'est là qu'intervention le Grub Ubuntu (disque sdd) mais bon, je ne sais pas si cela va servir à quelque chose.

j'ai lu ton boot info il plus que touffu je ne c'est pas te répondre précisément .(pour le moment )
mais une question a tu installer le nouveau grub manjaro ?

En fait les deux disques ont chacun un grub.
Avant l'arrivée de la tuile je démarrait sur le disque sdd, là où se trouvait Ubuntu, l'autre disque sda avait une ancienne distribution linux (Fedora). Je teste les autres distributions par curiosité et j'utilise le Bios (touche F8 carte asus Z97A) pour sélectionner (quand ça fonctionne) le disque qui démarrera en premier.
J'avais donc décidé de tester Manjaro (version Gnome) et l'ai installé sur le sda.
Comme la sélection du disque de démarrage avec cette satanée carte mère Asus est aléatoire, j'ai modifié l'ordre de préférence via le Bios.
Aujourd'hui, je démarre sur le Sda et le grub installé par Manjaro me propose, Manjaro (heureusement), ubuntu 18.10 et Ubuntu 18.4. La 18.10 s'arrête en cours de route.... La 18.04 fonctionne mais sans mes réglages.

Avant la mise à jour de Ubuntu 18.041 vers 18.10, mon PC démarrait sur sdd1 avec Ubuntu 18.04, j'ai mis à jour vers la 18.10 avec le résultat que l'on connaît. Donc si je ne me trompe pas, GRUB est bien sur sdd.
Puisque le grub ne s’affichait plus, j'ai refait une installation de Ubuntu 18.04 sur le même disque dur (sdd) et la j'ai pu choisir entre la 18.04 (nouvelle) et la 18.10 ancienne qui bloque toujours autant.
En parallèle et afin de répondre à mon neveu qui lui est sur Manjaro, j'ai installé sur un autre disque dur (le sda) la version Gnome de Manjaro avec son propre GRUB sur sda, donc, là encore si je ne me trompe pas, c'est comme si mon PC avait deux distributions indépendante. Au démarrage du PC je choisi alors le sda ou le sdd
. A noter que le GRUB du sdd ne reconnaît pas Manjaro, tout du moins sur ce qu'affiche l'écran, le Grub une fois chargé.
J'espère que j'ai été suffisamment clair dans mes explications. Il me manque certains termes et je m'en excuse et je remercie rj45 et tous les autres d'être compréhensif.
J'ai regardé le fichier créer par bootinfo et j'avoue que si j'arrive à "comprendre" certaines lignes, d'autres me sont complètement étrangère.

C'est bien là mon problème, il n'est pas facile de décrire précisément, surtout dans un domaine qui m'est inconnu. Je suis utilisateur de cet outil que l'on appelle informatique. Mais là on rentre dans un domaine qui me dépasse complètement. Et comme tout domaine que l'on ne maîtrise pas, on n'écrit pas toujours ce qui doit être écrit.
Si ma dernière explications n'est pas suffisamment clair, et bien je préfère abandonner.
Pour le moment je tourne sous Manjaro, j'ignore si avec cette distribution j'aurais les mêmes soucis qu'avec Ubuntu, mais chat échaudé craint l'eau froide, dît on. Alors je verrais à l'usage.

Comme ce que l'on voit dans les fstab des systèmes installés en /sda1 et /sdd1.
/swapfile none swap sw 0 0
Veut dire que tu as réinstallé la 18.04 sans utiliser de partition swap.
Pour la 18.04 réinstallé en /dev/sdd5, si tu veux réutiliser la partition /home séparée essaye ceci.
En mode administrateur dans la partition système /dev/sdd5 démarré.
renommer le dossier /home en /cacher-home
Toujours en administrateur. Modifier le fichier /etc/fstab en y ajoutant ces lignes;
# /home was on /dev/sdb1 during installation
UUID=d6b72d59-23c5-49b6-a6bd-2c302abba0c9 /home ext4 defaults 0 2
Normalement au redémarrage c'est la partition /home séparée qui sera utilisé par la 18.04 réinstallé.
Mais comme tu as réinstallé, seules les applications installées par défaut auront tes paramètres personnels. Il te faudra réinstaller les applications que tu as ajouté, et paramétré personnellement pour qu'ils retrouvent tes paramètres personnels.
Si çà marche comme çà. Ecore en mode administrateur, tu pourras supprimer le dossier renommé /cacher-home

J'ai découvert Ubuntu avec la 07.10.... Et alors?!... Depuis je regarde de temps en temps si Windows marche toujours....
