Windows écrasé et installation d'ubuntu impossible

Bonjour à tous,

J'ai tenté d'installer Ubuntu à partir d'un live USB, en choisissant l'option "effacer les données existantes" (il ne m'était d'ailleurs pas proposé d'installer Ubuntu à côté du Windows existant), ensuite l'installation bloque, affichant ce message : "la tentative de montage d'un système de fichiers vfat de SCSI (0,0,0), partition n°1 (sda) sur boot/efi a échoué".
Même si l'installation ne peut pas se terminer, si je redémarre le pc sans la clé, il semble que windows ait disparu.
J'ai lu quelques discussions ici sans trouver la solution pour l'instant, et j'ai lancé un Boot-info

Salut,

Boot-repair ne parvient pas à bien identifier le format de ton disque pour installer GRUB sur laz partition efi. Il évoque l'hypothèse que tu aies du RAID. Est-ce le cas ?

Une chose est certaine. Tu as bel et bien supprimé Windows.

Oui, je vois ça, mais je ne sais pas si c'est du RAID, je ne pense pas. RAID est quelque chose qui s'installe, n'est ce pas ? En tout cas, je ne m'y connais pas assez pour utiliser ça.
En, revanche j'ai tenté partitionner moi-même le disque dur après le premier échec d'installation ubuntu. Est ce que ça peut être ça, ou rien à voir ?

D'accord, si je comprends bien, Ubuntu aurait dû prendre place la place de Windows sur le disque sda 1 (partition EFI).
Cela n'a pas été possible parce que cette partition est en NFTS et corrompue. Il faudrait donc que cette partition soit en Fat 32 ? Pourquoi, et comment pourrait on la faire passer de l'un à l'autre ? Serait ce lié à ce disque dur non-reconnu ?

Voici la partition de mon disque dur. J'y ai peut être fait des erreurs :

sda 3 : swap 4223 M

pourquoi est ce une rareté ?

Eh bien d'ordinaire les fils d'aide concernent soit des installations qui ne démarrent pas, soit des problèmes postérieurs à l'installation.
Là, on a un boot-info sans noyau (kernel), c'est ça qui est exceptionnel.

D'accord, ce serait la conséquence, de l'écrasement de Windows et du fait qu'Ubuntu ne "s'est installé nulle part",  pas même de manière incomplète ?
Que faire ?
Je me demande si je dois refaire une tentative d'installation, si quelque chose peut changer, ou si le problème doit être réglé de toute façon d'une autre manière, en amont.
Je suis navré, je connais très peu de choses au fonctionnement d'un ordinateur, et ce mouvement vers Ubuntu est un saut dans le vide. Croyez vous que je puisse me retourner en vol et atterrir sur les pieds, ou est ce un crash en bonne et du forme ?

J'ai relancé une installation hier soir, qui s'est déroulée sans blocage, si ce n'est qu'au moment du redémarrage, l'écran noir avec ceci s'est affiché et est resté : [ 11.224762] sd 2:0:0:0: [sdb] No caching mode page found
                                [ 11.224768] sd 2:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache : write through
Fais un reset, et relancé la machine ce matin sans a clé : pas de système d'exploitation détecté
Et lancé un nouveau Boot-info, dont les résultats sont bien différents :

Ton disque sda a un partitionnement msdos et est configuré pour booter en mode legacy :
- partition msdos
- grub-pc est dans le mbr de ce disque et pointe sur l'adresse LBA = 1 où doit se trouver core.img (sur un disque msdos il est placé juste après le mbr et s'étend jusqu'à la LBA = 63, la première partition ne commence qu'à la LBA = 2048 (si le partitionnement avait été gpt alors il aurait fallu une partition boot_bios pour y installer core.img)

Je pense que ton pc ne démarre pas car le boot est positionné en mode uefi et non pas "bios" ou "legacy" ou "csm".

Si tu configures correctement le démarrage, ce devrait être bon.

L'autre option est d'installer en mode uefi mais pour celà il faut en plus une partition EFI (qui n'est pas trouvée actuellement vu que ton pc est actuellement configuré pour booter en uefi)

Je pense la même chose, car on voit que ton LiveCD a démarré en uefi :

Règle ton bios pour booter en Legacy, et tout devrait rouler.
