Dual boot Ubuntu WIndows 10

Bonjour à vous!
JE viens d'installer Ubuntu sur un Acer Aspire VX qui était déja avec Windows 10.
J'ai deux disques, 1 de 250 Go avec Windows 10 dessus, et maintenant un SSD 1 To avec Ubuntu dessus.
Je n'arrivais pas à installer Ubuntu et j'ai donc enlevé le disque avec Windows pour installer, puis remis le disque avec Windows.
Mon ordi démarre maintenant normalement sur Ubuntu, mais quand je fais F12 pour selectionner le boot ca ne me propose pas Windows, seulement Ubuntu.

Pourriez vous me dire comment faire pour pouvoir booter également sur Windows?

Bonjour
Je crains un mélange entre legacy et EFI. Peux-tu faire un rapport bisnext s'il te plaît (ma signature) afin de mieux tracer la structure de boot qu'un boot-info.

j'avais retenu  ta phrase "Je n'arrivais pas à installer Ubuntu et j'ai donc enlevé le disque avec Windows pour installer"
Dans le rapport on voit clairement que windows est installé en mode EFI grâce à ses fichiers de boot

Il fallait donc installer ubuntu en mode EFI. Or actuellement tu bootes en mode LEGACY

Conclusion
Tu bootes parfaitement bien en mono OS ubuntu en mode  LEGACY
Si tu souhaites booter avec windows, tu es prié de modifier le bios pour le positionner de nouveau en EFI et tu booteras parfaitement bien avec windows en mono OS..

A chaque fois, il te suffit de faire cette manip de switch. Si tu en en marre,  et que tu souhaites installer un dual boot, il faut que tu réinstalles ubuntu en traitant le problème de fond.
C'est à dire: Bios resté positionné en EFI
puis avec gparted du support d'installation, suppression de cette partition

/dev/sda4         1,127,589,888 1,129,590,783     2,000,896 BIOS Boot partition

et création d'une partition de boot EFI c'est à dire: Taille 36 Mo, format FAT32 et drapeau boot-esp.
Puis installation de ubuntu

J'ai noté que ton ordinateur est un  acer Aspire VX5-591G. Il est donc très probable que tu ne puisses pas booter en EFI tant que tu n'auras pas dit au bios que ubuntu est autorisé à booter. https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.p … #p21468818

Par la suite , tu penseras à stopper windows via la fonctionnalité "REDEMARRER" et pas du tout avec celle qui vient a l'esprit "ARRETER"

je peux effectivement switcher de l'un à l'autre et c'est deja une bonne chose,
J'ai commencé par la fin et autorisé  ubuntu à booter en EFI.
Je vais me pencher sur la réinstalle en EFI car ca ne bootait pas sur la clé lors de ma tentative d'install initiale.

Donc effectivement j'arrive à booter sur windows en EFI et Ubuntu en legacy,
Du coup ma question est : Est ce que je peux supprimer la partition SD4 et créer la partition de boot EFI en démarrant une live session en Legacy, puis repasser en mode EFI pour installer Ubuntu?

Bonjour
Pour faire les manips de suppression de la partition bios-boot et création de la partition FAIt32, tu peux être en legacy ou en EFI.
Je te conseille  de faire cela en bootant EFI. car si tu ne réussis pas à booter  EFI, autant ne pas détruire ce qui fonctionne.
Tu peux même d'ailleurs ne pas supprimer la partition de boot tant que le boot EFI de Ubuntu ne donne pas satisfaction.

Est-il du coup préferable de créer cette nouvelle partition de boot en FAT 32 sur le disque où se trouve Windows (en sachant qu'il y a deja ce type de partition)?

Ce n'est pas la peine de la créer sur le disque contenant windows car elle existe comme tu le dis.
Si au démarrage, je savais que ton disque s'appelait SDB, cela n'aurait pas été utile non plus. Mais comme il peut s'appeler SDA,  (Cela dépend des branchements) on ne va prendre le risque de son absence.

@Bougron, Question. Résultat de tests chez moi.

On peut aussi tenter ceci au lieu de réinstaller Ubuntu en UEFI.
Les deux disques branchés. En session live de Ubuntu 16.04.3 démarrée en mode UEFI (impératif!!)
Installer/utiliser Boot-Repair pour réinstaller Grub en UEFI (grub-efi) dans le Ubuntu.

Je pense qu'il sera capable de démarrer en mode UEFI, machine démarrant depuis le disque où est installé Windows.
Et en mode Bios_Legacy, machine démarrant sur le disque où est installé Ubuntu.

J'ai fais un peu ce type d'installation sur une machine UEFI avec une clé USB en GPT. Avec un dual boot;
Un Ubuntu 32 bits qui démarre en Bios_Legacy grâce à la partition boot bios.
Un Xubuntu 64 bits qui démarre en mode Bios_Legacy, avec la partition boot bios, et en mode UEFI, avec une partition boot-esp (boot-efi) après réinstallation de Grub-efi, à l'aide de Boot-Repair.

Sur le SSD interne de la machine avec table de partition de type MSDos, Il y a un dual boot Windows Ubuntu, démarrant en mode Bios_Legacy.

Tu as raison sur l'utilisation de boot-repair, il sait migrer une LEGACY 64 bits en EFI 64 bits. Paragraphe 4 de https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/uefi


Ajout
Si la live-usb ne démarre pas en EFI, tu ne peux pas non plus faire une iunstallation EFI

Regardes le paragraphe 6.1 de cette doc,   https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/kernel qui montre la différence entre les 2 écrans d'accueil

Si on ne peut pas démarrer la session live en mode UEFI; la transformation n'est pas possible.
Boot-Repair doit travailler en mode UEFI.
