[CONTOURNÉ] Mise à niveau vers Ubuntu 16.04

Bonjour,

Je suis sous Ubuntu 14.04 et j'aimerai passer sous la version 16.04. Ça doit faire un an qu'on me la propose à la fin de chaque mise à jour, alors je clique sur le bouton et il ne se passe rien. J'ai donc tenté la méthode en ligne de commande, mais rien ne marche non plus, la version semble ne pas exiser.

Ce trois commandes permettent de savoir :
- que tu es bien sur une trusty wink
- le contenu de tes dépôts et PPA.

Le contenu des dépôts pose problème : tu as des PPA dedans, dont getdeb dedans : déjà il ne devrait pas être là ca c'est un PPA et il faut le virer d'urgence car il embarque une tripotée de paquets parfois expérimentaux (ce qui peut expliquer une partie de ton souci).
Le contenu des PPA pose également problème : il y en a beaucoup trop et plusieurs sont obsolètes (par exemple tualatrix qui embarque ubuntu-tweak, abandonné et déprécie depuis 3 ans).

Il y a des chances que tu sois forcé de passer par une clean install (ce qui ne serait pas plus mal) mais on peut tenter un peu de nettoyage et voir si ta 14.04 redevient plus coopérative.

Je te propose de nettoyer ton sources.list :

gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Et d'y supprimer ces lignes à la fin :

Profites-en pour décommenter la ligne :

(en supprimant le # et l'espace en début de ligne)

Puis fermes le fichier en l'enregistrant.

Pour les PPA on va être plus radical en les supprimant tous (ils doivent de toutes façons être désactivés pour une mise à niveau) Tu pourras remettre les indispensables une fois mis à niveau (dropbox par exemple, je suppose)

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*

Puis donne nous les retours de :

cat /etc/apt/sources.list
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get autoremove --purge

Non je n'utilise pas dropbox, je ne sais même pas pourquoi il est là lol mais pour les PPA et autres dépôts je n'utilise que Minetest, GetDeb Games et JOSM. Je vais devoir les supprimer quand même ?

Pour la mise à niveau, oui !
De toutes façons les PPA eux-aussi correspondent à des versions données, donc on pourra les réinstaller ensuite avec la bonne version (si elle existe pour xenial)

Pour getdeb, je te conseille par la suite de l'activer pour l'installation du paquet précis que tu en veux, puis de le désactiver immédiatement (surtout en ne passant aucun upgrade - dist-upgrade ou full-upgrade tant qu'il est activé) faute de quoi tu te retrouveras avec des évolutions de paquets/librairies non voulus et souvent problématiques. Je n'ai pas regardé si minetest et JOSM doivent suivre le même traitement mais c'est possible.

Je viens de faire ça, et ça a démarré le gestionnaire de mises à jour qui m'a dit que tout était à jour.

Sinon j'ai refait ça :

~$ sudo do-release-upgrade -c

Recherche d'une nouvelle version d'Ubuntu
Aucune nouvelle version trouvée

Il est très énervant !
Essaie :

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge software-center
sudo apt-get install software-center -y

Pour voir si ça le met dans de meilleures dispositions.

Sinon après, je sèche un peu, sauf si un petit camarade passant sur le fil avait une idée,  il sera sans doute plus simple de faire une install propre de la 16.04.1 en préservant tes données : https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/reinstallation_ubuntu

Merci, j'essayerai ça, et je réinstallerais Ubuntu par le CD si nécessaire (il faudrait déjà que je trouve un CD vierge). Je vais ajouter ça à ma (trop longue) liste des choses à faire pendant l'été.

J'ai choisi de faire une installation propre. Tout marche très bien, par contre j'ai un autre problème qui n'a rien à voir : j'ai perdu un fichier important que j'avais oublié d'inclure dans ma copie de sauvegarde, et j'essaye de le récupérer.
