[terminé] Problème au démarrage après Mise à jour

Salut la communauté !

je suis fraichement passé de Win10 sur mon ancien poste à Ubuntu sur mon tout neuf Dell Vostro 3565, la version suite à la mise à jour est 14.04.5
je suis donc un pur newbie d'Ubuntu...

mon cas:
je reçois mon poste neuf, joue avec 48h en attendant de trouver une connexion stable et fais les mise à jour proposées...

je valide l'invitation de redémarrage une fois les installations faites,
l'écran s'éteint,
ne semble pas se rallumer, j'enclenche donc le switch ON du poste... ERREUR !!!
je pense que le poste était en train de redémarrer mais que le contre jour / manque de lumière m'a induit en erreur...

j'aurai donc éteint mon poste lors de son redémarrage post mise à jour...

lorsque je démarre, je vois aujourd'hui à l'écran la version installée et une invitation à entrer mon login puis mon mot de passe.
une fois le mdp entré, je lis à l'écran
-à nouveau la version installée,
-un lien vers la documentation en ligne help.ubuntu.com
-"0 packages can be updated"
-"0 updates are security updates"
-"monlogin@monlogin-vostro-15-3565:~$

j'ai un peu cherché sur le net une réponse à mon soucis, entré quelques lignes de codes à cette invitation, entré StartX...
j'ai en retour cet écran qui pour moi est incompréhensible:

Ubuntu qui se trouve sur ton Dell Vostro 3565 était-il préinstallé à l'achat ou bien est-ce que c'est toi qui as installé Ubuntu ?

il etait préinstallé, le fonctionnement etait ok pendant les 2 premiers jours

Bonjour,
Je te propose de te fabriquer une LiveUSB de Ubuntu (*) et de démarrer ton ordi dessus pour faire une session live (choix Essayer Ubuntu sans l'installer). Depuis cette session live, tu feras un Boot-Info et tu donneras l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse.

(*) pour faire cette LiveUSB depuis un autre ordi sous Windows, tu peux utiliser l'ISO de Ubuntu 14.04.1 64 bits (avec ma recette) ou bien l'ISO de Ubuntu 16.04.1 64 bits (mon autre recette)

Merci de ta réponse Malbo,
j'ai créé la clé, booté dessus mais le wifi n'etait pas accessible... impossible de télécharger boot-info et te donner une réponse...

agacé, j'ai donc dégoté un câble ethernet et réinstallé Ubuntu 14.04.1 64bits
et malgré les mises à jours successives, le wifi n'est toujours pas disponible... mais c'est un autre problème qui mérite de recherches que je n'ai pas encore faites, et qui mérite de fermer ce post,

merci en tout cas pour ta réactivité !

C'est très intéressant de constater que Ubuntu 14.04.1 64 bits peut s’installer dans ce modèle mais compte tenu que ton processeur AMD A8-7410 est sorti en mai 2015 (source) - donc que ce processeur est relativement récent - ce serait utile d'essayer, puis d'installer si ça fonctionne, Ubuntu 16.04.1 64 bits que je t'ai conseillé également dans le post #4. Si ça fonctionne avec la version 16.04.1, ton install sera soutenue jusqu'en Avril 2021 contre Avril 2019 pour la version 14.04.1 (source). Et si par extraordinaire ton modèle ne s'entendait pas du tout avec la version 16.04.1, tu pourrais toujours réinstaller la 14.04.1
