Que signifie "apt transaction returned result exit-failed"
Bonjour,
en faisant un tour dans le gestionnaire de mises à jour, celui-ci m'a renvoyé ça :
apt transaction returned result exit-failedC'est la première fois que je rencontre cette mention.
Je précise que je ne la connais que sous ubuntu 17.04 récemment upgradée et ne l'avais jamais vue sous 16.04.
Merci d'avance pour vos lumières...

Ubuntu software > Onglet "Mises à Jour" > bouton Actualiser > picto sens interdit + mention graphique "apt transaction returned result exit-failed"

Veuillez utiliser « sudo apt autoremove » pour les supprimer.
0 mis à jour, 0 nouvellement installés, 0 à enlever et 0 non mis à jour.En relançant encore la MAJ logicielle via l'interface graphique, j'obtiens la même mention de transaction "exit-failed".

Oui je cherche une solution de remplacement.
Je n'arrive toujours pas à comprendre pourquoi un module de widget ne vient pas par défaut dans la plupart des appli comme des agendas, météo, courrieleur, et qu'il faille passer par un énième paquet tiers, aléatoire, et hors distribution applicative par défaut sous Ubuntu.
Ceci dit, mon module de mise à jour me renvoie toujours la même mention énigmatique !

Qu'a donné le add-apt-repository --remove, et les lignes "E" ont elles disparu du apt-get update?

Avant de supprimer le repository de Screenlets, je voudrais comprendre :
Est-ce que tu soupçonnes ce dépôt dans mon problème de mise à jour ? (j'ai pas de passion, je trouverai autre chose)
Est-ce qu'un simple dépôt défectueux serait capable de planter ma mise à jour logicielle générale via l'interface graphique ? (là c'est inquiétant)

Ce ppa n'est pas encore porté sur zesty. regarde
http://ppa.launchpad.net/screenlets/ppa/ubuntu/dists/
et screenlets n'est plus dans les dépôts officiels depuis la 14.04

J'ai supprimé ce dépôt, j'ai relancé la MAJ via le gui, et la mention d'erreur a disparu. Ca c'est fait et je te remercie pour ton aide !
Reste que ça induit le constat suivant : un seul dépôt défectueux ou non reconnu est capable de gêner le gui de mise à jour intégralement ?

Au passage, je recherche un équivalent stable à Screenlets... Je trouve aberrant de ne pas pouvoir afficher en standard un agenda sur un bureau, qui ressemble à un agenda, ou un module météo qui donne vraiment la météo !
