[Résolu] Logiciel Freestyle (glycémie) est-il utilisable sur Ubuntu

Bonjour,
Vient de sortir pour les diabétiques un système de mesure de la glycémie en continu, dénommé "Freestyle". Un logiciel est téléchargeable pour l'exploiter. Deux versions sont disponibles, comme d'habitude pour Microsoft et OS.
Savez-vous s'il y a un projet d'adaptation pour Ubuntu ?

Oui, bien sûr.
On trouve tous les sites en cherchant sur Startpage ou Google : "Diabète + Freestyle". L'adresse du dispositif chez le fabricant est : "https://www.freestylelibre.fr/". Ce site comporte une mention "Télécharger le logiciel". C'est de celui-ci que je parle.

Configuration requise

Un ordinateur qui utilise l’un des systèmes
d’exploitation suivant :
    Microsoft Windows 7 (32 or 64 bit)
    Microsoft Windows 8 (32 or 64 bit)
    Microsoft Windows 10 (32 or 64 bit)
    OS X El Capitan

Le logiciel n'est pas dispo pour Linux.


La plus grande surprise que puisse faire un con c'est de faire une pause.

Oui, tu as raison. C'est pourquoi je demandais si quelqu'un était au courant d'un éventuel projet d'adaptation pour Ubuntu.

Oui mais peut être qu'avec Wine ça peut fonctionner

Bonjour,

Je relance cette discussion car je viens de passer moi aussi au glucomètre freestyle libre. Je suis parvenu, après être passé à la version 3 de wine, à installer le logiciel sans message d'erreur, et même à le lancer mais malheureusement, le lecteur de glycémie n'est pas détecté. L'appareil indique bien qu'il est banché sur un ordi (par usb) mais le logiciel ou l'ordi ne le voit pas.

Alors si vous avez une idée !

NB pourquoi avoir mis RESOLU sur ce topic?
Je rencontre la même situation pour un client qui vient de passer en tout linux (Mint).
Logiciel démarre correctement en wine jusqu'à la fenêtre d'accueil.
Dans wine on peut en config assigner un lecteur, mais que mettre comme chemin /dev/usb/hiddev0?
Je ne sais pas.

Je ne sais pas pourquoi l'auteur de la fil à mis résolu.

J'ai téléphoné au service client du labo. Il semble que le souci vient des pilotes, il n'y en a pas pour linux et il ne faut s'attendre à ce qu'il y en ait, nous ne sommes pas assez rentables !

que j'ai réussi à extraire les données du Freestyle libre à l'aide de l'utilitaire suivant :

Les données sont obtenues au format CSV, ce qui permet par exemple de les importer dans une feuille de calcul.

Les applications pour diabétique, fonctionnant sous Windows, nécessitant de connecter en USB un lecteur ou un petit appareil, ne peuvent pas fonctionner avec Wine sous Linux. Parce que la gestion du port USB sous Wine ne fonctionne pas.

Celle-ci fonction aussi sur les mac. Quel dommage que win ne puisse pas gérer ça et que la marque ne fasse pas un petit effort vers linux, sans doute une question de rentabilité.

Les pilotes freeview fonctionne bien sous windows ou macos, mais rien n'est prévu pour les diabétiques linuxiens. Je trouve cette situation regrettable. Il y a beaucoup trop de firmes (exemple : abott) et d'institutions (exemple : tag à grenoble) qui obligent à utiliser Windows ou Macos. Cela constitue un frein certain à la diffusion de Linux.

de plus même si apres "bidouillage" avec wine/PoL on arrivant a lancé un de leur soft, ceux ci etant en x86 il sera bientot impossible de les executé vu que les wine32 et autre bilbi du genre seront introuvable.
